Instructions to access the hidden OBC functions:
1. Hold Trip Reset while turning ignition key to on position
2. OBC should show "Test"
3. Use Trip Reset to select function 19.0 that unlocks all the features
3. Wait for display to show "Off"
4. Depress Trip Reset for 1/4 second and release it
5. With no delay press Trip Reset several times to select one of the following functions

Reset servisnih ter inšpekcijskih intervalov na E46 in E39


Reset s premostitvijo na maso v okroglem 20 polnem konektorju (možno do letnika 6/2000):

Za ta reset zaradi varnosti elektronike priporočam uporabo 12V preizkuševalca napetosti, ki jih prodaja skoraj vsaka trgovina z avtodeli.
Podoben je navadnemu "fazenbriferju", le da ima zadaj na ročaju ven speljano cca. 50cm dolgo žico s krokodilčkom na koncu.
Dobijo se v plastični ali kovinski verziji.

1. Krokodilček preizkuševalca napetosti pripnemo na maso (čisto kovinsko površino) npr. kakšen vijak na motorju.
2. Konico preizkuševalca napetosti vtaknemo v pin 7 označen na sliki

3. Vključimo kontakt (ključ v položaj 2)
4a. Za reset oljnega intervala po 5. sekundah iztaknemo preizkuševalec iz konektorja
4b. Za reset INSPECTION intervala po 12. sekundah iztaknemo preizkuševalec iz konektorja
5. Ugasnemo kontakt, zapremo pokrovček konektorja in s tem je postopek zaključen.

Če postopek ne uspe se ga lahko ponovi šele po eni minuti.



Reset s tipkami na armaturi:
Na armaturi-števcih sta dve tipki LEVA je reset dnevnega števca, DESNA pa je za nastavljanje ure. V nadaljevanju bo vedno govor o LEVI tipki.

1. Ko ni kontakta pritisnemo tipko in jo tiščimo.
2. Damo kontakt v pozicijo I.
3. Po petih sekundah se izpiše OIL SERVICE ali INSPECTION skupaj z sporočilom "reset" ali "re".
4. Spustimo tipko in jo takoj ponovno pritisnemo ter držimo nadaljnjih 5 sekund, da začne sporočilo "reset" utripati.
5. Spustimo tipko in jo takoj spet ponovno pritisnemo za kratek čas - sekundo - da se pokaže nov servisni interval.
6. Po ponovnem kratkem pritisku na tipko se bo pojavil napis END SIA
7. Izklopimo kontakt.

Če postopek ne deluje je potrebno porabiti tank goriva, oziroma narediti najmanj 300km, ker je od prejšnjega reseta minilo premalo časa. Včasih je celo potrebno počakati in ponovno poizkusiti šele po 3. tednih - 21 dni.

Gretje sedežev in testiranje brezhibnosti za E46

Po l. 2000: gretje mora na prvi stopnji segret sedež na 40 °C na drugi pa samo na 37°C.

Do l. 2000: gretje mora na prvi stopnji segret sedež na 44 °C na drugi pa samo na 39°C.

Temperaturo v sedežu nadzira tipalo, ki je poleg grelca vgrajeno v sedežu.

Če napetost akumulatorja pade pod 11,4V se gretje avtomatsko izključi. Ponovno deluje šele ko napetost doseže 12,2V vsaj za 5 sek.
Če se krmilna elektronika v stikali segreje nad 95 °C se delovanje prav tako izklopi dokler se elektronika ne ohladi pod 85 °C.


Delovanje tega sistema se lahko testira na način "flash code" takole:



Flash code output is started by following procedure:

Switch off ignition (ignition lock in position 0)
Press and hold the button for seat heating
Switch on ignition (terminal 15) with button depressed (ignition lock in position 2)
Release button
Briefly press button

Initially, the seat heating is activated after pressing the button. Both LEDs come on.
The right LED goes out after 10 seconds have elapsed.
The flash code is output by the left LED.
No fault was found if the right LED does not flash.

The following faults can be indicated by the left LED.

Da bo tema ostala "čista" jo zaklepam. Če bo kdo imel dodatna vprašanja o resetih naj jih postavi v nadaljevanju katere od množice tem, ki so že odprte.

Če pa ima kdo še kakšne koristne napotke ali navodila v zvezi resetov ter ostale elektronike in meni, da spadajo sem, pa naj pošlje zasebno sporočilo administratorju ali kateremu od moderatorjev, da mu temo za dodaten post v tej temi začasno odklene.
